How to real-time estimate fungal biomass using off gas measurement
Real-time information on biomass concentration is of critical importance for robust control of any bioprocess. In this application report, CO2 and O2 off gas concentrations measured by BlueSens gas analyzer technology were used to accurately estimate biomass concentrations during a Penicillium chrysogenum fed-batch process.
