II. Processing of your personal data

Conversion tracking with Google: We use the free conversion tracking feature of Google AdWords on this website. Google uses cookies to measure our advertising performance. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify you. By using these cookies, Google and we recognize when users have clicked on certain Google ads and were redirected to our website. The information obtained in this way is used only to generate conversion statistics.

5. Storage period

The duration of the storage of your personal data shall correspond to the various legal retention periods. 6. Information applications from other providers

LinkedIn

Our website uses features of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Each time you visit one of our pages that contain LinkedIn features, it connects to the LinkedIn servers. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website. LinkedIn collects information (such as your IP address and other information) that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. I. What is it about?

BlueSens gas sensor GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "BlueSens") operates an "Instagram profile" to draw attention to its services and offerings, and to interact with its customers and visitors to the Instagram profile ("users").
Personal data is processed while using the Instagram profile of BlueSens. You will be informed here about the type and scope of data processing for which BlueSens is responsible under data protection law in this context.

III. For what is your data processed when you visit the BlueSens Instagram profile and on what legal basis?
3.1 Independent processing of usage data by Facebook

When you visit the BlueSens Instagram profile or profiles within the Instagram platform, Facebook collects usage data.
In doing so, Facebook also uses certain data collected from users of the Instagram platform (e.g. whether a photo on an Instagram profile was marked with "like" or commented on) to create aggregated usage statistics and make them available to those operators of the Instagram profile (so-called "Instagram Insights"). BlueSens also receives such Instagram insights. The information that BlueSens receives through Instagram Insights does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual users. BlueSens itself does not have access to the personal data that Facebook processes for Instagram Insights. Facebook alone determines which data is processed for Instagram Insights and in what way. BlueSens can neither legally nor actually influence the processing by Facebook.
Facebook is solely responsible for this data processing. Facebook provides information on this in their Instagram Data Privacy Policy and the Instagram Cookie Policy.

3.2 Processing of your data when communicating with BlueSens on the Instagram profile

If you contact BlueSens via the Instagram profile (e.g. by commenting on a post or writing a message to BlueSens via Instagram Direct Messenger), BlueSens processes your data (e.g. your name and the communication content) in order to process your request. When necessary, BlueSens may also process your data for the purpose of asserting legal claims and defending legal disputes, as well as for the prevention and investigation of criminal offences.
The processing is carried out on the basis of a balance of interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 (f) GDPR, which always takes your interests into account.

IV. How long will my data be stored?

BlueSens does not store any personal data about your use of the Instagram profile.
Information that you publish on BlueSens' Instagram profile (e.g. comments) or send via Instagram Direct Messenger is stored by Facebook on the basis of your user relationship. You can delete it on Instagram.

V. Who receives my data?

When BlueSens communicates with you via its Instagram page, it transmits the personal data required for this purpose to Facebook.
BlueSens will only disclose your personal data to third parties if you have consented to this, if there is a legal basis for this, or if this is necessary to enforce the rights of BlueSens, in particular to enforce or defend claims.

VI. Will your data be transferred to a third country or to an international organisation?

BlueSens does not transfer the personal data collected through their Instagram profile to third countries (i.e. countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area).

VII. What rights do you have when it comes to the processing of your data?

In accordance with the legal requirements, you have various rights concerning the processing of your personal data. You have the right to information, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

You have the right to object at any time (on grounds relating to your particular situation) to the processing of personal data concerning you carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 (e) of the GDPR (data processing in the public interest) and Art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests), including profiling based on this provision.
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
