your questions - our answers!

Is it possible to meaure in the liquid phase?

No, Bluesens sensors measure in gas phase exclusively. In exceptional cases e.g. Ethanol it is possible to conclude to the concentration in the liquid phase.

What happens when there is liquid in the pipe?

Basically liquid in the pipe should be avoided. Sensors are protected against penetrating liquids for a short time via hydrophobic filters.

Does humidity harm the sensor?

No, the sensors are heated (as long as they are connected to power supply) to avoid condensation.

How does humidity influence the signal?

Our sensors are calibrated on dry certified gases so for humid gases they will show lower values than for dry gases. This is called the dilution effect which can only be influenced by the temperature. You will find a detailed calculation for humidity compensation in our manuals.
