CO2 values are needed to calculate essential respiratory parameters such as CER (carbon emission rate) or RQ (respiratory quotient). The RQ in particular indicates the status of the culture. With the help of this data, it can be determined in real time whether and which actions are necessary to achieve optimal results. BlueSens analyzers measure the CO2 concentration in the gas phase continuously, non-invasively and reliably, independent of flow and scale.
