BlueSens sample gas pumps (SGP) are the smart solution for protecting your analyzers and making calibration even easier. Depending on which BlueSens analyzer you use, you can choose between the SGP1 and the SGP2.
SGP1: Protective shield for your analyzers
Do you perform SIP (sterilization in place) and want to protect your BlueSens analyzers during steam sterilization? Then the BlueSens SGP1 is just right.
The SGP1 is simple to set up. It connects between the pipe and your analyzer; the best part is you don’t have to remove your analyzer during the sterilization process. This means less work for you and more protection for your equipment. The SGP1 does more than just connect to your equipment. It protects your sensors from heat and steam, which can cause damage. This pump is small and easy to attach, fitting right into your existing setup.
SGP1 can be used on any scale steam sterilized fermenter from lab scale to full scale manufacturing.
How SGP1 works
SGP2: All features of SGP1 + option for regular calibration
SGP2 combines all the features of the SGP1 with the option to use it for regular calibration of your analyzer. This is made possible by a simple switch directly on the device.
This way, you always have the perfect zero gas for calibration at your fingertips.
A cartridge filled with absorbent material is located in the middle of the device right between condensation until and pump unit. By switching to calibration mode air is sucked through the absorber material and CO2 will be removed. You will receive CO2 free air. In combination with a 0% CO2 cartridge you´ll be able to easily calibrate the O2 and CO2 sensor of you analyzer. Your analyzers - always in top shape with SGP2
