What kind of measurement principle do BCP-H2 sensors use?

BCP-H2 sensors use the principle of thermal conductivity. The measuring cell is pre-heated to 60°.

In which gas mixtures can H2 be measured?

The BCP-H2 is a gas sensor for the measurement of hydrogen gas concentrations in binary gas mixtures. Usually CO2 or N2 are used as co-gases. In case you are using another gas mixture, please contact our sales team.

Does an interference with other gases exist?

Due to the measurement principle the BCP-H2 sensor is non-specific for H2 and is interfering when used in non-binary and non-specific gas mixtures. Therefore please always specify the gas in which you´d like to measure H2.
