Your questions - our answers!

How often do BlueSens sensors have to be calibrated?

About once per month you should perform a one-point calibration and once per year within the scope of annual maintenance./

What is a one point calibration and how do I perform it?

The one point calibration developed by BlueSens is an easy method to minimize drift effects and obtain exact analysis results over long time periods. If you are using your sensor continuously you should perform an one-point calibration once per month. If you are using non-continuously you should perform that one-point calibration before each fermentation run. For one point calibration you have to pre-heat your sensor for at least one hour where at you should expose it to the right calibration gas. Your manual tells you which gas you should use for that. Then you can start the calibration procedure. Due to the fact that there are different ways to perform the calibration which depend on the type of sensor you have please read the manual for details.
