BlueSens has once again been successfully recertified with the prestigious ÖKOPROFIT^® award. This recognizes our continuous commitment to environmental protection and resource conservation. Targeted measures have enabled us to further improve our operational environmental performance and strengthen sustainable processes. The renewed certification confirms our ecologically responsible corporate management.
ÖKOPROFIT^® has been running in the Recklinghausen district since 2004, and the energy-saving measures of all 153 companies involved to date have already led to a total reduction of 57,272 t CO2/a. In this project year, 3.5 million kWh of energy have been saved. A total of around 1,300 kWp of photovoltaics have been or will be installed on the roofs of the participating companies, leading to greater energy self-sufficiency and concrete steps to combat climate change. Around 1.2 million kWh of solar power can be generated with the new systems. In addition, the project group saved 70 tons of waste and 79 m3 of water. These are figures that can be seen and heard.
