What is happening at BlueSens?
The groundbreaking ceremony has taken place: We are continuing to expand.
At our site in Herten, we develop and produce our sensors for measuring carbon dioxide, oxygen, methane, hydrogen and other relevant gases for bioprocesses. The data recording and control of the processes is done by a self-developed software. Due to the unique concept and the high quality products, we have been supplying worldwide renowned companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry for more than 20 years. The sensors are used, for example, in the production of medicines and vegan foods. In addition, we offer innovative measurement solutions for the biogas sector, the yeast industry and large bakeries.
Currently, BlueSens employs around 45 people - partly on site, partly in a home office. As the market continues to develop and demand increases, more employees and trainees will be added. The space offered by the existing buildings has now finally become too tight. The new building, with an area of 400 square meters on 2 floors, will offer additional office space as well as larger training rooms and a bright break room with an outdoor kitchen. The new building is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2023. Everything will be built with the latest standards in sustainability.
